Quoted: Been a couple years here too. Between having a kid and ammo prices, it's been too long. My accuracy has gone to shit too, it really is a perishable skill. The one time I shot a couple months ago it was bad. Ugh. Need to get back to it now more than ever. View Quote I on the other hand have no problem with accuracy, I can pick up anything I am familiar with and shoot well, except Glocks. |

Think it's been a year unfortunately. Hopefully a range trip is planned for tomorrow.

It's been at least a couple years for me also.
First it was cataracts, then the plandemic ammo pricing bullshit. |
Last Saturday. I try to go once a week but this doesn’t always work out.
On average, I usually end up going 3X a month. |

I bought a pile of junk wolf 223 years ago…still shooting it.
In retrospect, it was a good deal…but it’s super bad for the gun. It thrashed a colt so com barrel in 5k rounds. |

I just got back from the range an hour ago. Shot my Ruger 57. Sent 100 rounds down range, worth about $150 at today’s prices (I paid $36 for it a couple years ago)
Get out and shoot! |
I hardly ever shoot. I don’t even really care for it. But I don’t really care for much of anything anymore. Hobby wise.

I used to be terrible about getting out to shoot, but thankfully for the last couple years I’ve had a little 50 yard range in my backyard, so I shoot every couple of days on that. Usually I just run a magazine through my carry gun, or plink some cans with the kids. I have a 15-22 pistol that I shot 10 rounds through tonight, just because I got a new vortex red dot in the mail and wanted to try it out. Other times I’ll shoot a couple hundred rounds in a day, just depends on the weather and what else I have going on. I will say over the past year, .22 is probably 90% of what I’ve been shooting.

Today I shot a river, a ball and a house. Almost all were intentional.

Quoted: I haven't shot a gun in two years. Partly because of time constraints, and partly because of the ammo shortage. I need to change that. When was the last time you had some range fun? View Quote About 15 minutes ago. Just got back from some handgun drills and sp5k fun |

Other than an occasional suppressor demo for a customer, same here.
I've only been shooting 3 times in the past 10 years, actually. And yet I keep buying toys.... |
Over a year, wife had a baby.
Also the local bar has a $2 a drink surcharge due to temporary employees so money is kinda tight right now. |
About 10 rounds each month.
I’m good for a few thousand years... |
Once a week at a minimum. I reload though.... and mainly shoot out to 600+ yards with bolt guns. So its not like I am dumping mags.
I run through maybe 300 rounds of 223 a month, but I have steel case and reloads piled up for that. |
Shoot rimfires (Glock 44 and 15-22) 1-2 times a week
5.56 ar once a month 9mm Glock or .40 USP once a month Bolt guns here and there when I want to make the long drive to the range |
Quoted: I envy you regular shooters View Quote Shooting always suffers due to time constraints—we always seem to put it at the bottom of the list. I shot a trapped fox recently, and because of hunting, especially waterfowl which goes from September until early January, I do shoot regularly. |

Last weekend in June.
Grandson was born 7/3 so I've been focused on him since or else I'd have been out again. Probably go out next weekend if it's not raining. |
I have a 200yd range on my property and steel plates that I can shoot from multiple windows.
I haven’t fired a shot for years and have a number of brand new safe queens over 10 yrs and counting. However in the last month I’ve been to the range twice to break in a couple newbies.
I am in my third week shooting 384 rounds of 9mm every day four days a week. Two weeks to go.

going to go try out some new 357 magnum loads tomorrow as a matter of fact.
lol, today.
I go at least once a week and sometimes twice a week. |
View Quote Yeah, well, You suck! |

I shoot 3 matches a week between uspsa 2 gun and steel challenge. I'm still shooting atleast 1000 9mm a month and have to bring atleast 1000 9mm to a Ben stoeger class next weekend.
I don’t target practice hardly ever these days, but I shoot a lot at critters while hunting.
Shot a USPSA type rules steel match last week. Did very well considering I hadn't shot in about a month since I was moving.
Shooting a USPSA match and Steel Challenge match this weekend. Usually shoot at least once a week. |

At least May with family. https://www.ar15.com/forums/hometown/Young-Shooter/21-654375/ Thanks to a member here.
Try to run a few rounds at least monthly for me. Due at least within the next few weeks. |
It's been while.
My next door neighbor walks and picks up trash, and it turns out she has some ammo, that she collects on her walks, that I got tonight. I think most is from garbage trucks/waste bins and college students dropping crap when moving. From the meager lot she gave me, there were 4 12ga shot shells, 1 20ga shot shell, and 11 .22lr rounds. A bunch of trash brass/aluminun, some brass I could tell was reloader discards by the plier smashed cases. I also discarded several full shot shells that had been run over and the crimp end compromised. |

Me either. Shoot often and shoot a shit load more than a single round.
Was going on 2 years until the 4th of july. Havent been able to go. Before covid one range had the outdoor range shut down. Another was remodeling and covid hit.
I need to find a club. Im just now getting more free time during the day. I probably have ten guns I havent shot. |
Tonight as a matter of fact. Went out with some friends and did some night shooting.
ETA: so far this year, between 9mm, 5.56, 7.62 and .22lr I’m just over 3k rounds fired. |
I went shooting for the first time in 9 years about a month ago.
Had a blast, I was pleased with my shooting speed and accuracy, just like riding a bike. |
Shoot monthly. As much as I want to shoot.
In two months, heading to instructor school that calls for 2.5k just with pistol. Looking forward to it. |
Use to go every other week until the Commie Cyna Syndrome hit. Went nearly six months dry spell then started going every other week again. Now we are at once a month to conserve ammo. I at least am able to shoot once a week with my S.O. but we are at a 50 round limit for service pistol and patrol rifle each and 20 rounds of shotgun. Our S.O. Supplies the practice rounds so no worries. We use to be able to shoot a hell of a lot more than that but these are strange times.
