Steel Challenge match tomorrow and I’m 1.27 seconds off of GM in Carry Optics so I’ll be running some drills.
Wish I was.
Taking my first day off in a long while. Going to the range is effort I don't feel like exerting today. |
Not today but tomorrow I'll probably try out some guns I just picked up.
I was in the desert walking and shooting a .22 rifle early this morning before it became 200°.
Does that count? |
I tried but the match got rained out. Loaded ammo and sorted brass instead.
I sniped a chipmunk with my canned 22. Given the heat and cost of ammo, that's all I got for today
Was suppose to shoot today, even mowed the shooting lane and put fresh ice on the beer. but my buddy who was going to come over and shoot bailed . I may still slide out there and bang a few mags out.

Went this morning. Shot at 100 yards standing, 200 yards kneeling and 300 prone. Getting ready for an Appleseed Known Distance.

A bit drizzly here, so I figured I'd have the local sandpit to myself...and I was right! Took my new m17 for a whirl. Awesome pistol.

Mowed the grass to lay down the shooting mat to test some loads for the 458 SOCOM. And it's down pouring right now. Maybe tomorrow 405gr Remmy RL7 35.0-35.5-36.0-36.5-37.0-37.2 Starline brass CCI 350 primer Yes that's .2 over max. I'll have my lab radar out. 7.5# w/ no magazine. |

Went and shot full auto HKs at the rental range this morning (MP5, G36, 416). It was a hoot. I'd never shot a G36 before and it was pretty fuckin' sweet.

After relentless amounts of rain, we actually had great weather today for our Michigan Gun Owner's annual meeting and fun shoot.
No pictures, but between the awesome BBQ lunch and free range time it was a superb day |
I was going to until kalifornia fucked it up with their smoke. Can't keep the people out, Can't keep the smoke out.

I tried, took 2 M1 Carbines and 300 rounds of ammo. Only able to shoot 1 and 100 rounds, rain came. Of course the sun is out now

I shot 4 mid range palma matches today but didn't take pictures.

Does this past Wed count?
Working today. Took my buddy out for the 1st time. Let him have a go with a few drums on the FRT arfsaw. He's hooked |
Been raining all day here. Wish I could send some out west.
I went out yesterday and took a Henry AR-7, a CZ512 and a CZ452 Trainer to the range and ran 150 rounds of Thunderbolt through them. Not one fail to fire, load or eject. Even the finicky AR-7 liked the stuff. Very dirty so I had to clean the guns when I got home. All in all a pretty good day. |
Processing brass today, hopefully will get it loaded and shoot this week for a bit, hunting season is coming soon..

went this morning. took no pics. indoor range. cz75, hi-power, and sig 1911 45.
first time to the range in several months. figured i'd be rusty but shot better than i was expecting. the cz still amazes me how accurate it is, even at 25 yards. tried some new mags for the 1911. today was a good day |

I was!
3D archery.. so not really shooting as per the OP. But things did in fact fly through the air at targets. |
No pictures but I was shooting a 12 pound Mountain Howitzer at Ft Union in New Mexico today.
Not shooting today, went out on front porch yesterday and busted off a few mags in my M-16.
Shot for about 2 hours this morning, Then cut firewood for an hour.
That was fun as it is 97 outside. |
