Very cool, I've been intrigued by your results with the Barnes 85gr. I'm thinking I need buy some bullets for some testing of my own.

I really enjoy reading your post. Do you have any overlays or data of where the 69 Grain SMK would fit into group.

Thanks

They do use-up a lot of case volume.

Interesting that this bullet has a bc of .410 that's similar to a 77gr tmk.

Interesting.  I saw another thread where you listed MV and it wasn't much deviation either.  Good to know, thanks for the thread.

The Prvi M193 was fired from a 1:9" twist.  The rest were fired from a 1:8" twist.

What's really interesting, is that unlike the 77 grain Tipped MatchKing, the 85 grain Barnes bullet can be seated to magazine length without the ogive extending below the rim of the case-mouth.

Hi.  I want to take your suggestion and test the 77 grain tipped round with the 85 grain round.  I got into Bruno's site to order some and I saw several companies including Hornady, Barnes, and Berger offering a 90 grain bullet.  I've had wonderful results with each so I think I'll send all three of them.

I don't think you'll be getting any 90 grain bullets that can be loaded to magazine length.

D. Rustick from Arms Tech said he has developed one.  However I don't want to use my carbines to test them.  So I'm going to choose an 80 grain bullet to test.
