DSA STG58 with SA58 hand guards.
What kind of scope is that?

Just a Leapers 3-9x40 variable compact.
Got it from TASCO for $89
I like it a lot so far.
Here is the start of mine.
FSE- H/T/S
Tapco- piston, cocking handle, SAW grip
Century- handguards
Probably not going to use the grip and keep the wood one-looks nicer

my first build:
imbel kit on imbel rec. barrel cut to 18"
also shown is a rooster sling, about the best buy in slings out there...

David, you paint the furniture on that?

yup.
My shorty G1.

Hmmm... These look strangely familiar. Nice job guys. They look great and shoot even better.
Up top here:

HEY, who put that HK stuff in there???

Imbel kit/Imbel receiver.
18" barrel
Nice looking rifle you got there Frisco!
Just picked it up last week....1 day shy of 21 weeks with the gunsmith.
It does look good except for the unfinished hinge pin. I'll fix that soon.
We need to get together soon for another shoot.
I need to take a better pic.

DSA STG

Here's my old "Izzy'd" Israeli HB Fal....shoots great, BSA red dot right on the mark. Quite happy!

Oh god, don't let Davidp14 see that. He'll get drool all over his keyboard again. Nice.
BOOIIINNNGGG!!!
very nice!!
(wipes slobber off chin)

My first STG58 FAL, not even 12 hours old yet. I want to replace the handguards already, as this was a kit gun and they are pretty beat.
It might not be as cool as everyone else's stuff, but it fires straight, reliably and accurately! I am very happy I picked it up, now its time to upgrade to an STG Carbine with the skeleton stock.
Two battle rifles for the price of one! CAI FAL and Springfield Scout DMR

... I'm in
