Those OIP scopes were Belgian made, purpose-built/supplied sniper scopes for FAL's in the 50's/60's. Great optics, retain their zero when the topcover mt is removed/replaced.....and I think they look "right".

Might want to post a "WTB" ad over at the FALfiles if you're looking for one.

I've had it for about 10 years and have used it on many rifles.  It is my favorite short range optic. (150 yds or less)

hehehe, I just moved all my tools, guns and ammo into a 'gun room' in the basement.

the carpet is HORRENDOUS.

Drop a roll pin and it's GONE.

my camera's auto focus also had serious issues.

Chapperjoe,

How is the DMS-1 holding up on the FAL?

I have considered the DMS-1 for my FAL.

I'm using an Aimpoint on my FAL now and really like it but some
magnification would be nice too....

Thanks for posting the pics!

Cheers,

EMSflyer

It's not too bad. Not as light as my AR's, but if you need some .308 to cary around easy, FAL's are the way to go!!! Yours look good too!!
