Damn QRF posted a $799 Omega deal...why do they tempt me so?!?!?!?!

$799 for an Omega is not really a deal, I am hoping to see it around $720.

Speq pricing is $760

Mile high shooting?  I'm just started looking for an Omega.

The black and nickel versions of the pistol itself are $366 on grabagun and I believe only come with one mag. The threaded adapter is $35 from silencershop. The spectre ii (in black) has been on sale before for $150 (even the other month) but most places have it right now for $325

So $366+35+325 = $726 (for all black) and that doesnt have a second magazine nor case for whatever value that brings.

Does anyone know of a deal on a Surefire SOCOM762-RC? Apparently, turning 40 makes you want to buy shit (at least that is my excuse for a nice AR10 style plus a SOCOM).

Not sure how much punishment I can take.... They are super late to file form 3s and even later to send them after approval, right?

About a month to send F3 and give or take 3-4 weeks to ship your can.

I want a Liberty can for the collection and watched a few videos on it. Super quiet for 556. I'm going to try 1 out tomorrow and wanted to see if there were some deals on it yet before Black Friday. Thanks

I got to see my Osprey 45 from Tarheel State at the FFL/range for the first time yesterday and started the form4 transfer.

While I was there they mentioned that the saker is rated for an AR down to 7.5 inches.  Can anyone verify this and are there any good deals on a 5.56 saker out there?  The in store price was a bit rich for my blood.

As info...all versions of Sakers are rated that way, as is the Specwar 762. Only the Specwar 556/K cans are limited to 10" for 5.56.

Are you sure?  I remember some debate about this earlier in the thread and someone called silencerco about the specwar 762.  They said the site needs to be updated. I'll look for the link. I hope you are right though, since I should have a form 4 approval for my specwar 762 any day now.

You sure it was the 762? I remember there being an issue with the 556/k  since the old white paper on the 556 stated they were good down to 7" but the barrel restrictions link stated 10" min.

This warrants further research.  In the meantime, any saker deals are greatly appreciated.

Ironically enough the MOD is partaking in Q&A (that isn't related to deals) that could be dealt with via IMs.

We all make mistakes and post things in the wrong areas, some are obviously worse than our mod.  I think if I were the mod I might be feeling like if I can't beat them might as well join them. Let's close this derailed thread and start a new one with clear expectations and the ban hammer for those who don't comply.

Since I didn't post a deal I hereby ban myself until Wednesday.

Gemtech Suppressed BCG for 7.62 on sale for $260 at Silencer Shop. Not sure how well it works, but could be useful.

Also- SIG SAUER SRD762TI QD for $747 at Silencer Shop (login to see price).

On a side note- can we get this thread on track? It's now page after page of chatter about who bought what, people asking for deals, thank you's etc. It's a complete waste of time to come here these days. I understand there are not tons of deals on suppressors like other "deals" threads, but we need to either keep this on track or start a new thread with better rules. I come here every day thinking the new activity is my $125 Warlock, and it's someone telling me they ordered a can.

ETA:  I agree wholeheartedly with the posts above, most of the email alerts I get from posts to this thread that I check out turn out to be discussions...  in a deal thread.

These are two best Saker 5.56 deals I could find.  If anyone finds better, please post them.  I'm in the market for one of these.

With MAAD Mount $895

Without MAAD Mount $599.99

Now that I have posted a deal, I'll go ahead and apologize for posting earlier without having a deal.  People do reply with comments and I think it's a bit too stringent to lock a great thread just because of a few friendly replies.  I do agree that it should be kept short.
