Trying to decide if I should buy a SBR parts kit as well. Probably wouldn't hurt.

I dig the looks too...

Before the ARX I was just about to buy either the ACR or the SCAR. |

I much prefer the ARX100 over a SCAR16...had both.
However my all time favorite platform so far is the Tavor SAR. |

The ARX arrived today. Can't wait to shoot it this weekend.

If you only lock back the bolt carrier with the bolt catch (as incorrectly demonstrated in every single YouTube video about the ARX) it can disengage while trying to remove or re-insert the barrel and possibly damage the polymer receiver. Be sure to read the manual. |

Finally got a Shooting Sight Trigger in my FDE ARX SBR. It is as good as the original was bad. Had I known it was this good I would have bought it years ago. Now I have to order another one for my Factory SBR that is in jail for who knows how long (first world problems :)

I panic bought my ARX less than 2 months ago for $799 from Academy, efiled for SBR, and was already approved yesterday!

I haven't found an Academy that has them in stock around here

So, the snow is pretty deep and my little lefty and I haven’t been able to get out and try the rifle. I will say that that the trigger feels great. We put a Sig Romeo 5 on and took the buis sights off. The Beretta charging handle extension is perfect. This rifle is so cool and I can’t wait to put some rounds through it. The one issue I have with it is the safety selector. It needs to be longer, or at least a little more prominent. Does anyone know of anything to alleviate this?

Someone has molded like plastibond or something to make it a longer lever...it is on the short side but not too bad.
The factory buis arent actually that bad...they are back up...plain and simple...but they work for what they are designed to do. |

View Quote Is it just hard to reach or do you feel that you just need more leverage because it's stiff? When I replaced the trigger on my first ARX with the Shooting Sight trigger I had the chance to clean out all the grey colored grease that Beretta uses at the factory on the selector lever and it's detents. when I put it back together I greased it up with Slip 2000 EWG and the selector lever became way easier to use. |

Not sure I've ever engaged the safety

Yup on the A3 models I think...but the factory poly buis will work in a pinch if you ever have to use them as a backup...and that is what they are.

From: https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2019/02/21/cobra-commander-themed-hk-xm8/ When I saw this, I thought of how neat it'd be to have an ARX100 like this, but I'd never do it really. One of you should though and post a picture so I can relive my childhood vicariously. |

I love and hate HK.
They are screwing themselves out of so much money its insane...if they would only invest more into manufacturing stateside so that we could proper long guns. HECK...they haven't updated the MR556 at all with anything except a stupid handguard that no one likes. US MR556 is still an A1 config....there are at A7 now....most of those updates...HK USA could easily implement... Sorry...I am a little salty with HK USA's lack of offerings in the US. |

Has anyone installed the (SCAR specific) Dead Air 3 prong flash suppressor/suppressor mount on the 16" ARX Barrel?
It's designed to seat on the muzzle face of the SCAR barrels since they have no barrel shoulder. I'm wondering if it would also seat on the muzzle face of the 16" ARX barrel, but I'm not sure if the ARX's barrel shoulder would prevent it from seating against the muzzle face or not. I prefer flash suppressors that seat against the muzzle face because they eliminate the gap that leads to carbon building up on the muzzle face that is present on most muzzle devices. |

Okay,
so this might be the right time to get on the wagon. Just bought a super cheap 160 .22LR version; from Palmetto. I think I am ready to jump onto the ARX 100 version, too. I wasn't able to figure out if it's been discontinued or not (I read some of this thread over the years but not all) and I will have to get a California compliant version - which should be no problem. Where should I buy? PS funny thing: I am actually Italian. Was born here to Italian parents but grew up entirely in Rome, IT. Never thought I'd have wanted to buy them Shitalian rifles but wrong I was! |

Just had my 16" barrel chopped to 14 5". Looks good, & probably will tighten groups a bit. Now to open the upper forend vent slots for that A3 touch..

So I'm hearing mixed messages...
Is this rifle discontinued or not? |

Brownells CS told me they have parts coming in (I ordered some stuff), which would seem to indicate that it's still in production.

Removing the top rail is something that Beretta advises against due to the use of a supposedly high strength threadlocker used on the top rail screws. The side rails and polymer front ring will also have to be removed. Also, the T15 TORX drive slots on the rail screws are easily deformed, I found it best to treat them as one time use only items... I do the same with the two hexagonal inserts. Re-installation: 10 inch pounds for the side rail screws, and 15 inch pounds for the top rail screws... Be sure to use a medium strength threadlocker on the screws, I prefer to use Loctite 243. |
