I just ordered Tech-Sights for my Ruger 10/22. I got an Aimpoint Comp M off of a buddy of mine from a trade.

I wanna mount the Aimpoint and was wondering if anyone makes or could make me a short rail for it.

I have seen some modified, so it can be done, I just don't know if there is a commercial product available. I am sure someone will be along to post it if there is.

FWIW, Tech Sights, if you're reading this, make a 10/22 rear sight that is also a weaver rail that travels the top of the receiver!

It sounds like you might not be interested in a full quad rail but maybe trim down a regular scope base. Here is mine to give you an idea of how a rail and Tech Sights look together...

We are making such a product. The NDS-25 fits our NDS-22 receivers, and we are in the process of making the same thing for the factory Ruger receivers.

They will go into production later this month.

I haven't worked out the pricing yet, stay tuned.

What kind of front sight would be used with that?

I agree, long over do.  The next best thing until Nodak can produce one is a custom modified rail.  An A2 sight cut and pinned to a standard Picatinny rail.  About as low as I could get the scope tube and clear the rear sight apertures.

Is it later this month yet?! I was going to order tech sights, but also want to mount a red dot.  Instead of ghetto rigging a rail, I'm impatiently waiting for the NDS railed sights after seeing this post.  arfcom beta testers need?  arfcom discount applies?   No? fine, I'll settle for just a release date on these
