I have been thinking about getting a SKS to add to my trashcan collection.  My first choice is to go with a Russian, if not then a Chinese.  Are there certain years I should avoid, etc.
I know the prices are any where from $300-$700.  Which is a lot to pay for a $100 rifle, but it is what it is.  As my co-worker says all time "gas ain't a dollar anymore".
Thanks for the help.

I have a Yugo, Chinese and Russian, all of 'em are more accurate than this operator.

Do believe the Chinese is the most accurate according to other boards, then Russian, Yugo.

Hope this helps.

2 places to go for research is yooperj.com and sksboards.com  Tons of knowledge there.
