I bought 3 single stacks 10rd mags off EE and were supposed to be for 7.62, 1 is and holds 10rds the other 2 are shorter and have less of a curve to the bodies and I can not get 10rds in them.

These are all Romy mags, is it possible the shorter ones are 5.45 mags?

Maybe 5.56, is there difference between 5.45 and 5.56 in an AK Romy single stack? Edit: did try 223 in them and the mag opening is too wide bullets don't stay in the mag.

I have never owned or handled a 5.45 so I am not sure.

The 2 on the left in pic are the mags in question the others are 7.62, I did try some 223 in them but the opening of the mag is too wide they don't stay in.

Was there ever 8 or 9 round 7.62 mags?
