sold at Apex Gun Parts: Unissued Polish AK mags
Besides the high cost  what can anyone tell me about them?
Why the high cost? Are they worth it? Thanks in advance. |

The Polish surplus steel mags are good quality, but at $30 I'd pass. $18~$20 for Polish like-new/unissued steel mags is more realistic. For $30 I better be getting EG like-new/unissued mags.

Excellent mags in my experience...WAY overpriced at $30/mag! There are trusted vendors with identical stock for 1/3 less than what Apex wants for the same mags. Robert at RTG has them for $19.95 new and his S&H is usually very reasonable at ~$12 for USPS Priority about anywhere in the States for up to around 10 mags give or take depending on size. |

The poles make a very good mag. Some of my favorite steel surplus mags.

apex is a good company, they are the only ones with any in stock right now... so...
i cannot get the poly polish mags to feed good on my AK74's. YMMV |

Polish steelies are great mags, but for that price get the Russian steelies from AimSurplus. Free shipping, I think.
Edit: I'm a fan of APEX. I think I bought some of the last Tantal steel mags from APEX at a good price ($26-ish). Haven't seen 'em since. |
