though maybe some people from high capacity ban states might find this useful. These are 2 10 round tapco's with slightly cut down followers to make them 15 round each. They are internally coupled with custom polymer insert I make out of an injected molded thermopolymer mixture. The insert acts both as a floor plate and a coupler. There are four roll pins that go through the mag body and the insert. On top of that is a jb weld mix to fill in the ribs, followed by a grip epoxy spray and finally a coat of black duracoat. End product is same exact size as a steel 30 rounder.

I dont think they yet make ak mags

but check out the mag couplers they do sell    http://www.fab-defense.com/en/category-magazines-and-accessories.html
so you can combine 2 10rd mags into 1

I sort of like that idea, but for the fact you have rounds sticking out the bottom where they could possibly fall out
or if you drop the mag loaded the feed lips could break or dent, who knows

like your setup, from the photos I dont even see any joint lines looks really clean
but how hard is it to take apart incase you need to change the spring or clean it

I'm familiar with the fab defense coupler, total let down. As far as cleaning or changing springs, I'm afraid that's not possible, with the the 4 pins and the jb mix on top that sucker is solid as a one piece body, there's no getting back in there

IF THESE ARE NEWLY MFG BY YOU IN NJ STOP POSTING THIS SHIT HERE. YOU WILL GET BANNED OR WORSE! FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, TAKE DOWN THOSE LINKS TO PHOTOBUCKET AND DELETE YOUR OP!

legally speaking, you are asking for trouble...
we proceed logically from this axiom...

in all cases and in all places, a mag body = mag
mag body permanently attached to mcdonalds toy = mag

mag body permanently attached to a human body = mag

mag body permanently attached to mag body = mag
mag body with no follower = mag

mag body with one follower = mag

mag body with more than one follower = mag
mag body with no spring = mag

mag body with one spring = mag

mag body with more than one spring = mag
mag with 30 rnds = "high cap mag"
mag with fewer than 30 rounds (or fewer than # as dictated by jurisdiction) = non "high cap mag"
2 one round mags permanently attached to form one mag body = 2 round mag
2 15 rnd mags permanently attached to form one mag body = "HIGH CAP MAG"
i would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST THIS!
it is likely going to land you in court. which means if you win you loose ($$$) and if you loose you loose (house, savings, anal virginity). NOT WORTH IT!
don't be a bubba. just pay the money for prebans, reload more often, or MOVE!
... but this shit will get you arrested; if not outright killed in a raid by a bunch of trigger happy NJ LEOs.

Our statute here in nj is quite clear, a high capacity magazine is defined as  "Large capacity ammunition magazine" means a box, drum, tube or other container which is capable of holding more than 15 rounds of ammunition to be fed continuously and directly therefrom into a semi-automatic firearm.  There is nothing continuous about the 16th round onward, you must do a magazine change, its that simple.

That doesn't mean what you think it means.
Try this thought experiment:

Take apart a G17 mag. Strip it to the body only. Discard or render useless all other parts. Attempt to load the mag body. All rounds fall out. Attempt to insert the mag into a weapon. No rounds will feed. Try to convince a judge in NJ that a G17 mag body is not actually a mag because it doesn't meet the criteria above. Land yourself in jail. Even if you win it will cost more $$$$$$$ than a damn preban.
A magazine body that has no spring or floor plate is not capable of holding more than 15 rounds, nor is it capable of feeding. But it is still a mag.
A FTF of the 16th round doesn't turn the "high cap" mag into a low cap mag if it does not feed continuously.
A mag with 30 rounds cemented into it is still a mag with 30 rounds in it. Even if none of the rounds feed into a weapon.
The reason mag couplers = G2G and two mag bodies bonded as one do not is because mag bodies that can be uncoupled mechanically (without cutting) are not one mag.

The reason neutered "high cap" mags are legal is because they cannot hold more than maximum number of rounds allowed by law inside the body of the mag for which they were designed.
And regardless of what your laws say in NJ, you are advising other members in other jurisdictions to potentially commit a felony.
This is all some murky legal territory. And my advice is to steer clear of trying to advertise or sell this work on this forum.
