I have no personal experience with them, but that's because I've read a number of times about their unreliability and thus had no desire to try them out.

They work just fire for range mags, the gen 1s had problems, but then Gen 2s seem ok so far.
The locking lugs are metal, and the top of the mag is a metal reinforced box, except for the feed lips; they aren't able to be disassembled however. Similar to the new reinforced Magpul AK mags with no steel feed lips, as well as price point. If you got them for cheap, great, but otherwise, why bother when steel milsurp is $8 a mag. |

Unless there is another Gen out, the US Palms lugs are not made of solid steel, rather they are plastic with weak sheet metal surrounding the lug. Not very durable.
