Well I came here with the intent of asking a question that would have gotten me lambasted because it could have been perceived as a price thread check, but why not make it more broad.

Specifically, I have some Polish and Egyptian 30 round surplus magazines, is there anything rare about these? Probably a dumb noob question on my part not knowing much about the AK world, so take it easy on me

To go further with the thread, which Mags are rare and hard to find?

Not sure of their current status after the Aim shipment.

Maybe they went from rare to pretty rare? Don't know.

Somewhat, a lot were floating around a few months ago, and then AIM got theirs in too.

My favorite mags as they are the original AK mags, produced only from 1948-53, so every one is at least 61 years old.

How about that Russian plum waffle... I think that's what it was, anyway. I've only ever seen a couple of those things.

Not as pricy as the 1 or 2 60rd quad stack AK-103 mags that sold for $1,000+

Found a 40rd bakelite 7.62 RPK mag

Russian Plum AK47 7.62x39 waffle mag..... probably the rarest of them all. (does not look like Bulgarian circle 10 whatsoever)
Never seen one for sale, and only one or two picture on the entire internet.

Very Rare:

Trial East German AK74 mag - mold#01 on reverse side from all the others. Only seen one, and I own it. Still looking for a mold#02 to see how they were made!

East German 45 rnd RPK74 mag

Romanian 40 rnd RPK74

Russian Plum Waffle AK47 (by my reckoning at least a dozen in the US)

Russian RPK47 AG4 40 rnd with Molot Factory mark (sanitized pretty common now)

Middle Eastern (Egyptian?) Steel Waffle AK47

Israeli 20 rnd Galil mag (issued with micro-Galils)

Israeli Aluminum Galil mags

Early Russian Izhmash Ribbed 30 rnd AK47 steel mag - has  two long bottom ribs - none wrapping around rear edge

Izhmash made 40 rnd steel RPK47 mag

Izhmash made 45 rnd AG4 RPK74 mag

Czech 30 rnd clear poly 5.56mm mags (few came in with restricted rifles/carbines)

Izzy Quadstack 60 rnd AK74 mag

Izzy Quadstack 50 rnd AK74 mag

Quite a few others have never made it here.

Not sure which one is more rare, but having both at the same time should count for something

Both are N.O.S. IZZY/TULA

Can I ask where a slab side mag can be found for sale? I saw AIM was mentioned but they are not listed on their site. I remember back when I first joined Arfcom those were very rare and were impossible to fined. If they are more common now I'd like to add one to my collection.
