So how do you make the cut for the cutaway example without igniting the trace element?

Some of the rounds that I cut are extremely dangerous, like the white phosphorous rds, and don't want to give anyone ideas that this is simple or a no brainer. Will say that the tracer was cut under water (no sparks then), and that they are never held in my hand while cutting. wolfgang
