I had the local gun store install the barrel nut that came with my KMR rail. I installed the 15" rail at home. It looks good, but if I put a straightedge across the top of the upper, the rail is down 1/8" at the front end.

Is there any point to taking off the rail and trying to line it up again?

Or, would I have to remove the barrel nut, face the upper, and reinstall everything?
