That's my trigger, sharp as a razor.  not gonna lie, this rifle lays in the back of a jeep, with tons of shit, come out when we see yooties.

I digress, the factory trigger pin sheared off.   I can see straight through the hole.  Old prick busted clean off.  Good thing it's a drop in housed trigger so he front pin held it all together.  Fired without missing a breath:

Anyway again.

I want som anti rolls and some better/best pins i can get for it.   Lead me in the right direction/

Thanks a foock load

Every CMC 3.5# trigger I have bought already came with stronger anti walk pins, did yours not come with them?
Anyways, I run the KNS anti walk pins with all my CMC triggers and have never had a problem.
These ones..http://www.knsprecisioninc.com/gen-2-build-a-kit.html

Thanks, just placed an order.

The cmc came with them, your right but one of the set screws that thread into the pin itself, the head sheared off.

So now it backs out of the lower.

Damn, I know the older CMC came with the little c-clip retainers but I'm surprised the newer design screw head broke off. Did you overtorque when installed? I've beat the hell out of 2 CMC triggers and never had an issue.

But KNS will solve the problem if it becomes one, which in your case it did.

I didn't call cmc, I mean it's my fault and the trigger itself is fine, just a piece of the hardware.  I could have over torqued it, a real possibility but it probably would have broke then.   It piece of fire wood probably did it.

At any rate.  Are those considered anti roll pins because there is t anything that prevents them from spinning?  The lower is a James Madison which is a poly lower so anti rolls pins are a must imo.

Shows me how strong that lower is though.  If a metal screw can shear off from some wood falling on it, I can only imagine how much more punishing it was to the lower itself when it absorbed all that shock.

Not to sure when it actually happened either as that rifle isn't inspected to often.

While KNS pins are great and all mine have em, CMC likely will replace or send you new hardware if you didn't intentionally try to break them. It happens even with the KNS pins if you aren't careful. I wouldn't go with the mod 2 dog bone type as they can also bend, use the ones I linked.
