"Oddly"?  I'm not offended, but find it funny, because this is exactly what I wanted it to look at in my head when I was planning it, and when I started looking at pics of other SBRs, I thought I'd see several that look just like it, but I haven.  Guess it's more unique looking than I thought.

As for weight, not yet, I wasnt going for extremely LW build.  If I was doing that, I wouldnt have used this rail or the match barrel or the WC Brake and Blast Shield.  With that said, it does feel light.   It is balanced. and feels great.  Surprisingly, it actually a good cheek weld on the buffer with the DD's.

I've got a ton of other VSeven parts for my dream bench rest AR Im in the process of building, and they are all top notch quality.  Those guys are great to deal with, and I'll be buying a lot more from them in the future.

Interested in your thoughts on the Wilson Combat brake/shield combo.  Not really any reviews of it online so far.

You are correct, I couldn't find anything online about it either.  I haven't even seen another one on this forum...

I really like it.  I actually just ordered 2 more sets.  I will be using a Whisper suppressor on the rifles the new ones will go on.  They just need to get back in stock, then I need to wait about a year...

Brake was a bit of a pain to install, it uses color coded shims, not nearly as straight forward as an ALG rail barrel nut with it's shims shims.  But,  The brake alone is loud, as all two port brakes are by nature, but effective .  The blast shield really woks well getting the noise etc down range.  The Whisper will not fit under the VSeven Rail, but that's not why I bought it for this build.

Fit and finish are outstanding.  WC parts are top notch.  It definitely looks high end.

Cool!  And how does it perform once the shield is installed?  Is there a noticeable increase in muzzle rise once attached?

Super clean...good work!

Is it a 5.56 or 300blk? If 5.56 what load do you intend to run in it?

Plan is to primarily run 62 grain. Probably PMC at the range and keep a couple magazines of Black Hills TSX for social work around the house.  I am by no means a ballistics expert though.

Put the Blitzkrieg Components chevron with Trijicon dot on the DD Front irons.

Looking for updates on how you are liking the build lately.  How does it shoot with the blast shield attached as opposed to just the brake, noise aside?

I am loving the build.  I have run maybe 15-20 magazines through her, not a single malfunction.  I run it pretty much exclusively with the blast diverter on.   There is a bit more recoil, but it is worth it for the noise reduction.   I havent run any other blst shield/ blast reduction devise, so I do not know how it would compare to the other brands, but I am very happy.

Gun is accurate.  With the irons, I can get about a 5" group at 100 yards,  Im sure with an magnified optic, I could get close to 1MOA.

I did just purchase the LMT PDW Stock/BufferTube set.  It should shorten the gun by a couple of inches when the stock is closed.  I havent installed it yet.  Really just looking to change it up.  I already have the LWRCI ultra compact stock for another build I am working on and wanted something different.  I will compare the two as soon as I get time.
