I just got my 2A Armament Billet lower put it all together and noticed that I had a good bit of wiggle in the bolt catch, on my aero precision forged lower it was almost non existent, but on this newer higher priced one it makes it so the bolt assist lever from magpul sits closer to the edge of the trigger well? ( im assuming that is the name of area, never heard it described before) is there any way to fix this or is there a thicker bolt catch I need to look into I just got a basic plain jane one from primary arms

A few options

Since you have two lowers and two catches bust out your calipers and measure the difference. Do you have a fat catch on the aero? Or too wide a gap on the 2a? Only measuring will tell you that.

Or get a catch with an integrated lever

I personally do not use these for a number of reasons. They turn the catch into a lever. I've never handled a rifle with one that didn't feel springy and squishy.

Ok ill give that a shot, I personally like the lever and on the aero lower its nice and stiff and doesn't have any play so it relocates almost all the activities to one hand instead of having to switch hands to lock bolt back while still being able to do it the old fashioned way if need be, ill compare the catches tonight and see if there are any differences just by eyeing it up the gap looks bigger on the 2A

Might contact them and see if they offer an lpk that's a better fit. Some billet lowers aren't as uniform as we'd like them to be. I love my aero stuff, good product, good value.
