Friends.

We are sad to announce that due to extraordinary circumstances beyond our control we have temporally suspended the operations of American Weapons Components. As we reported in our previous communication the company has been the victim of continual disruption by certain former employees and prior ownership. We have worked around the clock to resolve the issues but our efforts have fallen short due to continual harassment and theft. At this time we are seeking a capital raise to fill all outstanding backorders and set the company back on track. Unfortunately overwhelming negative commentary and outright bashing of our brand has made it almost impossible to generate cash flow necessary to keep the operations running at this time. Please understand that we have been exhausting every possible avenue to correct the situation. The current owner has taken on substantial personal debt and risk filling backorders.  While we were heading to a complete resolution of this situation, the company experienced a massive amount of theft committed by our remaining employees. We are seeking criminal charges through the Oceanside Police Department in ongoing investigations. If you are interested in following those developments, contact Oceanside Police for a copy of the report.   Please accept our deepest apologies as our goal was to deliver the very best  customer experience, as well as, employ those transitioning from military to the civilian sector.  Going forward we are pursuing funding to fill backorders and restart the operation. Our mission is to bring the company back to full operation and weather this storm. We are thankful to have the support of those customers who have shown us such incredible understanding and patience.

So...in their own words...they couldn't trust the previous owner and several of the previous employees.  Now it turns out they can't trust their current employees?
They manufacture weapons, yet security is so lax that "massive theft" is taking place.  And they wonder why their reputation is taking a hit?
Sounds like a complete shit-show to me.

I think this is my second brief post mentioning an outstanding backorder from December 2015.  Looks like I'll let Mastercard take care of this one.

They get what they deserve...after they pushed Dimitri out, its unlikely they will ever be successful in the business as nobody wants to work with or for them.

Bryce,  the current CEO is a DOUCHEBAG. I warned as many people as I came across about what Bryce did to Dimitri before they blocked me on their FB page. I'm glad they finally went belly up, but it's suck for people who were robbed by the new company.

At first I bought from this store to support them in their struggle against the ATF. Then they started screwing me. Then they changed hands. Hoped things would get better under new mansgement. Didn't happen. I don't want to think it was intentional corruption and dishonesty but it was either that or stupidity. In my experience I would rather deal with a dishonest person whose intentions are know than with a stupid POS who might do anything. The last barrels from them were awful. Feed ramps and chambers oated in some hard material that took forever to polish off. They would not reply to facebook, email or answer phone calls. I hope that if anything was illegal about this that someone goes to prison. You just don't do this sort of things to your brothers and supporters.

Sad day. Maybe God will forgive them - I won't. Screwing people who respond to your patriotic appeals is very, very, low.

Well I hope the NIB BCG I got from them early this year works out, cause it looks like any warranty is pretty much dicked.

Did any body else start getting those stupid e mails constantly, at least one a day, with a different female name as soon as Ares changed hands? On my inbox where it said "from" it's say some girls name, every message a different name, and I'd click on it and it's be an advertisement from AWC or whatever they called them selves. I bought from Ares, but I refused to do business with someone who sends stupid e mails like that.
