What relatively inexpensive, decent quality barrel nut wrench/spanner would you recommend for the 5.56 platform?
I have something like these which have worked OK in the past but am looking for something more better.  |

Magpul one; pricey but stout.
I also discovered that the flash hider wrench actually works well with Surefire MB556 muzzle brake. |

I have used the DPMS wrench, the SEI wrench and the GI wrench, they all suck but the GI wrench was a little better than either the DPMS wrench or the SEI wrench.

The Magpul wrench might be the best of the "multi wrench style tools" but I don't think any of the "multi wrench style tools" do as good of a job as the use specific wrenches. |

Best one I've ever used was the PRI closed wrench. Practically impossible to slip and you can put a shit ton of torque on it without worrying. Great for those monkeyed on barrels.
