Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone using the SLR Solo ultra light rail?

I was looking at this on their site and published weight is 7.9 oz for the 10" model.  I am assuming this is excluding the nut.  However, the nut is aluminum and thus, the setup is incredibly light and, quite possibly, the lightest until one delves into the carbon options.  I also like the looks of it and was hoping someone here has one and can provide their impressions overall.

I would imagine that weight includes the nut and hardware. I was trying to get a hold of slr the other day to ask them the same question about their 11" model but I couldn't get anything but a voicemail all day so I just ordered a balios light rail instead.

I have the rail you are talking about and it is everything I was looking for. I'm using it on a 10.5 pistol with a SLRs adjustable gas block. Im not sure what that actual weight is but it feels very solid. Would buy again.
