When it comes to a carbine buffer and spring will CMMG, DSA, or Anderson do the job?

Absolutely. If your particular rifle needs a heavier buffer it'll let you know. But starting with a carbine buffer will give you a baseline.

Ive had bad luck with off brand & store brand action springs. Brownells house brand springs in the three pack were horrible.  I'll only buy Colt and Springco now.
