Just bought a couple yesterday. The reviews looked good so we'll see. I'm hoping for the best.

The roll mark is awful but the lowers seems to be decent.

I have been very happy with the Anderson lower and parts kit. Yes the flaming horse rollmark is a little annoying, but not really any worse than the average AR lower rollmarking. The parts kit was actually really good, and had the best parts kit trigger I've found in my limited experience tinkering with ARs, I would say it is almost comparable to the more expensive ALG mil-spec trigger. So anyways, yes, I say they are good to go.

I'm glad you got a good sample.  My cousin's is gritty and full of creep.

They are good to go and realistically priced unlike a ton of things “AR”

Built one using their lower late last year. No problems at all. Roll marks look fine. I bought this one as a cosmetic blem, but found no flaws.

Assembled a lower, yesterday, using a "Red Dot Arms" billet lower. Also...no problems at all.

I almost forgot...I got one of their stripped uppers (cosmetic blem) for my Dissipator build.. Color was a bit light on top. Fit was perfect with a RT lower.
Both got  Duracoated O.D.

1. Anderson lower/ PSA upper for SOPMOD Block 2.

2. Range Tool lower/Anderson upper for the Dissipator.

3. Red Dot arms billet lower with Anderson LPK. for SPR build. (no upper yet but will order one of the Anderson "slick sided " uppers tomorrow.

I've had no problems with any of these assemblies.

I just built my first AR using Anderson lower so i can only say in my experience everything went together nicely, no issues with pins not fitting, have fired 90 rounds threw it with no malfunctions

I just used one for a complete build. No issues so far

I built a pistol on an Anderson lower and upper.  I am very happy with both.

I thought I read last week that mags would not reliably from the Anderson lowers.

I've done several builds with Anderson lowers---no problems--go for it.
***My only comment, just be sure to deburr the small holes by hand with a drill bit.  Some of mine had small burrs inside, which is not an issue if taken care of before trying to put in the pins.   Probably should deburr any lower, anyhow!

No issues with magazines not dropping free or not locking in tightly with my Anderson lower, this includes P-mags, USGI mags, and a variety of aftermarket mags.

I normally just use PMAGs. All my govt issue mags are tucked away in a storage box some where.

I have really not seen much difference in quality between milspec LPKs from any company so I personally wouldn't be too picky about that, but don't take my word for it

I've used Anderson lowers , uppers and LPKs .

I had an upper that would not accept the bolt carrier .

Called Anderson and explained the problem and was sent a return tag immediately.  Along with the replacement upper.
No hassle or BS of any sort.

As long as they continue with that type of customer service , I'll continue to use them.

Got an upper and lower of theirs for building an SBR.  I installed the parts kits for the upper and lower, still have to buy all my other parts.  I wanted a cheap build since I had to get the lower laser engraved.  The parts seem fine so far.  I tinkered with the trigger a bit and it felt ok, I've never used a fancy expensive trigger, only owned a Stag AR and DPMS AR.  This one didn't feel like it had any issues

GTG Have a couple.

Just got two lowers with the integrated trigger guard.
1)Finish was perfect, but the surface is a little rough to the touch;
2)Mag fit: GTG with D&H aluminum, Lancer L5, and M3 Pmag. The M2 Pmags and C-Products S/S are tight.

I have not used the LPKs but the lowers themselves have been good for me.

I've built out 3 Anderson lowers and have had zero issues. All of my uppers (PSA, RRA, and DPMS) lock up nicely with no slop yet don't bind up when trying to pivot on on the front pin. Unless you want a certain roll mark then these are great lowers!

Haven't used their LPKs....yet.....

have 3; in two of them the triggers were awful out of the box, one is outstanding.

One LPK had a front pivot pin 1/4" too short. Had an upper with 'pitting' in the aluminum, like popped air bubbles. Sent both back, got a beautiful upper and LPK in return, so can't complain.

2 people that I have know have said they have seen with their own eyes that Anderson was manufacturing complete rifles for another 'horse logo' AR defense company...so doesn't seem far from probability.

Exactly WHAT about RRA makes it a "horse logo"? Am I missing something here?

Noob here...doing research on building my first AR but the feeling I get is that there is a very small core group of manufacturers and everyone else slaps their name on it.

If anything, the forge marks are very telling.
