So I originally wanted to build a pretty cool looking weapon but keep it under 1200 dollars. So the hardest part was the wheelin' and dealin'
at all the gun shows and shopping through the multitude of different websites for the best deal possible ( military discount sure comes in handy)
parts:
Andersen Arms Lower
Milspec buffer tube, spring, and buffer (all Palmetto)
GI stock and LPK (Also Palmetto)
PSA Upper
PSA BCG
Colt M4 profile 1:7 14.5 Barrel
Low pro GB YHM
some no name quad rail that the gun show guy threw in for free
Total cost to put together ended up being around $450

I decided to use the extra money for a couple extra add ons
I swapped the chunky quad rail  for a UTG Pro/Leapers SS 15in. forend ( I know some of you hate UTG, but honestly UTG pro/leapers has been treating me right): $95
A buddy of mine in my unit sold me his old BCM mod 1 grip and a magpul MOE stock for 35 as a bundle
I installed a Kineti-tech Muzzlebrake w/ Sound redirection sleeve and soldered the brake in place ( think cheaper FerFrans CRD) for $55
My Best friend sold me his EOtech EXPS2 for $250 since no one would buy it after he painted it to match his  SCAR ( function over form for me)
Magpul MBUS Gen 2 Irons, opened never used from another soldier in my unit for 65 for the pair ( and no, they aren't the airsoft knock off ones)
Magpul MS-2 2-1 point adjustable sling for 45 from amazon
puts me right at $995
Stay safe and Molon Labe

PT2. Sorry new accounts can't post more than 2K characters apparently

So now I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my CMC 3.5 Flatbow Single Stage Trigger and Odin works XMR extended Magazine Release to round out this build. and still keep it under 1.2K
I've ran close to 800 rounds of mostly M855 but also some PMC 55gr FMJs and all the parts seem to be holding up well
I used about 20 rounds to zero and verify Zero for Irons and another 15 to Zero and Verify for Irons at 100 M
The rest have been used in shooting drills in an open area that allows me the room and the training environment to beat the gun up a bit more than at your average static gun range.
even had the space to run some live fire drills with a couple of my fellow shooters on our down time.
I'm pretty thrilled with the build so far and I'm excited to run it HARD with the CMC trigger and the XMR. Your throughts or opinions would be appreciated everyone!
