Hi Everyone, New to the forum, working on building an 80% lower.
Does anyone here (or know someone who can) cut custom stencils for name, city, state, and safe/fire markings so I can etch them into my lower receiver?
Thanks in advance for any help/guidance!!

I used a local sign company, but I'm in for options.

I know Randy Spade at Vader tactical does etching. I know he makes his own stencils with whatever u want. With that being said I don't know if he would sell u stencils or if he only does the work himself? He's great to talk to he is one of the 80% Guru's shoot him an email can't hurt to talk to him. Without his help I would not be where I am in the 80%er  Deal

Are you talking about using an "electro pencil" engraver? It'll look like shit, but will do the job of marking it. Mine came with a plastic stencil. I have a 1911 slide that I wrote "Colt" on that I could show a pic of later.

I did reach out to VaderSpade, he no longer has his vinyl cutter since he went to CNC engraving.

For those interested, I did find this place and ordered some stencils. They have an online design tool and will reverse weed the sticker so they can be used as templates. I'll see what they look like when they get here and update.

I've read somewhere about using press-n-peel blue PCB transfer film, never tried it though.

I cut my own "stencils" with my vinyl cutter to do glass etching with a sand blaster.

The smaller the font the harder it is to cut the letters in my experience but I'm also not using a professional level cutter.
