I am in need of ~15 standard mil-spec lower build kits. PSA would have been my go to, but they aren't on sale, usually around $80/ea.

Damage Industries would be ~$100
DSG ~$125
Brownells ~$100
DSA $120 but would include MOE grip and stock

Several others obviously, but they aren't my regulars or sponsors of the site or just no cheaper than any ofthe above.

Any one aware of a better source?

Ebay is full of name brand ones for starting at about 50 bucks

Ah, see second time I figured it out. I am talking about complete lower build kits, including the complete lower parts kit AND stock, receiver ext, buffer, castle nut, end plate, spring.

The PSA kit is WITHOUT fire control group. They have the full kit on sale for $79.99 semi-regularly just not right NOW.

Sorry, I thought it was the right link. You are correct they are out of the one you seek right now. That could be because I purchased 3 of them day before yesterday. I saw the $79.99 and classic lower build kit and thought it was what I had purchased. I was not paying attention. On a bright note, those 3 are currently shipping already.

Good luck man, sorry you are having trouble. They do have the PTAC for 99.99 but that may not be worth it to you.

I would suggest the PSA premium, as their buffer tubes are actually 7075, not 6061 "milspec" diameter only.

Many of the random build kits have cheap buffer tubes that are milspec in diameter only.

If they were only in stock? I currently have an email into PSA to ask which alloy the "classic" buffer tube is. I will report back, thanks for bringing this up.

PSA put a kit on sale for $85. $80 would have been better, but since I could only buy 10, I'm only down $50 from what would have been the best deal I expected. Bad part is I was in such a hurry to buy the kits, I forgot I have 10 stripped uppers I need build kits for too.

When t comes to upper kits I'm a fan of Red Barn Armory. They do a bundle. For $33 you get the FA, ejection port door, and a charging handle. Free shipping over $100 or something like that, and if you're military they have a discount.

have you thought o contacting any of the online (or even your local gun stores) directly. Maybe they would be able to work out a deal for a large-ish quantity. Joe Bob Outfitters are good people. Maybe contact Midway as well since they are a pretty large entity.

Also, if you go to your LGS, they may end up being a better deal since you won't have to pay for shipping (although you would obviously have to pay sales tax). It might end up being a crap shoot in the end.
