Somewhat long time lurker here, 1st time poster.  Hello to all!

Just looking for some more expert opinions than my own on bump firing and especially on the 2 products listed above.  Most likely I will get the 3MR trigger group at the very least so hopefully some people here will have some experience/opinions with that.  However, I am considering the Slide Fire stock as well which seems to accomplish almost the same goal.  Does anyone think the SF stock is "better" at achieving a higher fire rate than the 3MR?

I definitely wouldn't have a problem throwing both of them on there and hopefully that would create some synergy between the two and provide the best results.  Or do you think I would be getting diminishing returns at that point?  If one product is clearly more effective than the other would I get NO additional benefit if I added the lesser product onto my setup that already had the better product?

Thanks for your help everyone!  Hopefully this post is in the right forum...

Only speaking from YouTube experience, the Tac Con appears to have a slower bump fire rate than the bump fire stocks(Bumpfire Systems, Slidefire, Fostech). I know there is atleast one video on YT that shows an AR with both a bump fire and Tac Con on it. It was pretty damn fast. I picked up a stock from the Bump Fire Systems and a POF trigger, but haven't used any of them yet. I have a POF in my .308 AR and it seems like I could acheive some good furring rates if I add the stock/trigger combo. Just my 2 cents.

I was also considering the Geissele S3G trigger since that appears to be a fairly high quality trigger that will improve rate of fire a decent bit.  Maybe that in conjunction with one of the bump fire stocks?  Do most people who run them prefer Fostech to Slide Fire or one of the others?

have had both that said rate of fire is close to the same no big change... slide fire is easy to do no problems.....the 3MR is not so easy its touchy to get all 30 rounds off..... the slide fire is bulky and the 3MR is not and when not bump firing it is still a good trigger..

For the price, I bought the Bump Fire Systems one. Like I said, have not used it, but I think it's currently $105 shipped. I bought it when it was on sale for $95 shipped. I say keep the price down and go that route. After that, any trigger upgrade is worth it and you'll have more dough left over to buy with less guilt. The POF is 4.5lbs and has a short pull. Plus it cost less than $150 when I got it.

If you're wanting to bump fire, read the bump fire threads on trigger upgrades.  You get too fast a hammer, and you're worse off - you can get hammer follow.  The hammer on some of the fancy triggers runs faster than the gun.
