New here and I'm doing a low budget build, buying parts as I find them for good deals.  I'm looking at a couple of different complete upper options.  I was nearly ready to pull the trigger on this PSA blemished model: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/12802/category/4220/  Then I came across these free floating from Radical and wonder if I should go that route. http://www.radicalfirearms.com/product-p/rfupperv1.1.16s.htm  This will just be a gun for range fun and some varmint hunting, so I don't need the free float.  Also, without changing the hand guard on the Radical, I'm assuming one would have to use a scope or red dot, whereas I could go with iron sights on the PSA and save up for optics.  I've read some good stuff on the PSA, but don't know about the radical.  Thanks.

Go with the PSA upper the barrel is much better quality than the one Radical uses, and the PSA barrel is chrome lined.

I just went with one of these and I am very happy with it. I did have to pay a local gun smith to pin and weld the muzzle brake to make it legal.

What he said. Stick with the better quality barrel.

Agree with the others. PSA premium with the FN bbl. You won't be sorry.
