I didn't buy the components for my build with the hopes of selling my AR in the future. I don't think a BCM upper and Aero Precision lower will fetch top dollar in an AR ban. So...seriously considering a Krylon paint job. Any thoughts/suggestions/horror/success stories?

Give it a try and if you don't like it, strip it off and do it again.

Someone else might chime in because there was a decent link on here with all sorts of rattle can paint jobs

Paint that bitch.

I rattle can all my ARs.
It's a tool.
Treat it as such.

Rattle can it.  I like the Krylon camo colors.

If you don't like it, unchlorinated Brakeleen (green can), will take it right off.
