Pinning FSB to Melonited barrel

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Pinning FSB to Melonited barrel

I looked and Adco won't touch hardened or coated barrels. I know I can install a clamp on fsb but are there any other options for pinning? I'm not comfortable doing it myself. Barrel is a Yankee Hill YHM-47-T

I did but then later found this in their FAQ:

Q: " It says no "hardened" coated barrels for the work i want, can you do this barrel/gas block?
A: We do not know which barrels or blocks are coated. Please contact the manufacturer, and find out if your barrel or block has a "Hardened" coating such as Melonite, Nitride, etc. Plain Phosphate (Parkerization) is NOT a hardened coating."

I am pretty sure Weapon Outfitters pins gas blocks to melonite and nitride barrels even though they don't specifically say so here:

I ended up doing it myself.
Now I've done 3.

Roy at weapons outfitters said they could do it. Now I just need an un-drilled a2 fsb w/ swivel installed to send with the barrel.

I asked them about this awhile back in their industry forum. They said they will do it. They will use streight pain rather then tapered pins but they can do it.
