Here's the second build I finished up this weekend.

Wanted to do a lightweight build for once. I will end up changing the barrel on this one to a lightweight 14.5". I'm not sure how much this weighs as my scale won't register it. I'm assuming it's at or under 5lbs.

Parts used-

2A upper/lower
DD lightweight barrel 16"
MI rail
Spikes LPK
Magpul CTR stock
Spikes titanium/lightened BCG
And a few other special lightweight parts.....lol
Aimpoint H1

Here's the pictures-

The titanium bolt carrier-

The finished product-

I said in my first sentence that scale wouldn't register it. I'm assuming its 5lbs or less. I won't know for side till I get a different scale.

Use your existing scale to weigh yourself with the rifle then with out; the difference will be the mass of the rifle.  I'm interested in the total mass as well.

mrifle = myou with rifle - myou

Did you torque down your barrel with just the take-down pin holes in the vice?

ETA: Nice stick. Love that BCG.

I'm not sure what you are asking?

What's up with the grip and the rear of the receiver. Is it just the angle of the picture or does the grip not seat flush and tight ?

ETA:  on further review I see it's where the material of the lower was removed causing the recess.
