Love these...but changing out a staked castle nut and swapping to a fixed buffer tube is a PITA.

This is why I don't stake castle nuts.

Uhm, guys, not sure how you're going about doing it, but it shouldn't be difficult at all really. If the staking has a lot of displaced metal into the notch just take a punch and tap it with a hammer to move most of it back out. Then remove castle nut as normal with wrench. A lot of times you don't even need to "unstake" the nut so to speak, you can just put a good wrench on it and twist it loose.

I bought one of these yesterday. Great deal. After I bought one, this deal has been posted everywhere. I only hope they have enough in stock. Their online ordering system isn't perfect at counting.. ask me how I know.. ;)

Anyone else get this message this morning? For reference, I ordered mine at 9:08 am Saturday.. before this thread or any other slickguns, reddit, etc posting out there.. So, there are probably going to be a lot of people pissed. Armalite is now on my sh!t list. They need to update their inventory system.

Ordered last night around 9pm.  Got same message as above.  For such a large company you would think they would have live inventory tracking.  Requesting they remove all my info from their system as they were happy to create an account for me and take my CC info...

I knew it was too good to be true (at least that's what I told myself when I saw they were already sold out!!!).

I hope a few of your guys can score a deal on this one.

I paid about 25 more but I had my heart set on one so I spent it. This is PSA I think.. they are pretty good with inventory tracking so I am confident it's in stock. BTW, 308 version works on AR15 version. Just a smaller cheek weld (if you didn't know that already).

Anyway, I ordered a couple Armalite Koozie's too. I replied to make sure they cancelled those too. I don't want them sending me 2 Koozies for $15. shipping. hehe.

My brother ordered a few on Saturday.

Maybe he'll neckbeard some and profit...

Yes... too late for those of us who ALREADY were so excited to get one that we went out and bought the next best deal (tiger outfitters). It was a little bit more but still a good deal. Not as good as Armalite's deal. I would cancel Tiger Outfitter order but they already sent me shipping label (an hour before I got Armalite email).
I do appreciate them stepping up though. I have always liked Armalite and their customer service. I would hate to get that bad feeling about them as I do a few other guys.

OK I had to bite on that tiger outfitters PRS deal for my ar10.  
how is that shop?  Never heard of them before.

Read my last post. They shipped my order within a couple hours. Didn't you notice their website (account system), etc are the exact same as PSA?

PSA actually sent an email out with their link a week or so ago. Guessing PSA owns them. That's why I found it impossible to believe they shipped so dang quick.. Within hours I got the UPS tracking number and I see it's already been accepted by UPS. I will receive it Thursday.

Oh.. who's got the best deal on an A1 completion kit, btw???
