Went to the range for a little bit today. Gun shot well but my 10 round pmag doesn't lock the bolt back. The 30rd G.I. Mag, pmag and TSD mag all would lock the bolt back every time. One failure to reload and one jam. The jam I believe had to do with the bullets a friend gave me as the Herters/Tula .223 ammo and the .556 ammo I ran through it went great.
The plans is to go back to the range and sight it in better and for 100 yards. Left 6 shots were at 100 yards with no sight adjustment and the other shots were at 50 yards and no sight adjustment. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x11/darkamek/AR%2015/2DF9BA2D-5A74-482E-AFD2-C76F15C0BAA1_zpsiq3iqcgv.jpg These shots were at 50 yards and adjusting the sight a bit. Question......do you know how well the billet lower will fit with a forged lower?

I've attached the lower to my friends forged upper 9mm conversion and fitment was fine.

The govnah works great. I measured my gas port hole and one of the 3 position plates I ordered predrilled match perfectly. The rifle doesn't seem overgassed so I haven't bothered drilling my 3rd plate. I love the fact that I can slide the plate to turn the gas off when shooting .22LR as well. I'm still waiting for my suppressor though so nothing to report on that front.

I'm not a doctor. Yeah the lower is retarded for the price but for the price it was flawless. If the santan lower was out when I bought this I would have got that instead since I'm left handed. The front iron sight should be here this week as well as my mount for my acog to attach a red dot on top. |
