Well, browsing the internet last night I stumbled upon a website that actually had VLTOR MUR-1A's in stock as well as Noveske N4 Gen 2 lowers annnd 14.5" Infidel barrels. So to say the least another AR is in the making.

Think I'm gonna pin a AAC Blackout 51T on the end of the stick and do a 13.5" NSR rail. And I have a Geissele SSA in-bound as well.

Parts List:
Noveske N4 Gen 2 Lower
VLTOR MUR-1A Lower
Noveske 14.5" Barrel
BCM Auto BCG
AAC Blackout 51T
Troy BUIS
BCM Buffer Spring with H2 Buffer
BCM Mid Length Gas Tube
Noveske 13.5" NSR
Armalite LPK
Battle Arms Ambi Safety Selector
Noveske Takedown Pins
Geissele SSA
Raptor Ambi Charging Handle
Magpul UBR
Magpul MOE Grip
Aimpoint Micro T-1 on Larue 660 Level Mount

Well I've come to a slight dilemma. I'm not sure what size barrel I want to run on this platform. I already have a 16" AR and I was going to do a 14.5" pinned but now I'm kinda thinking of doing a 18" SPR variant. I have access to both 18" and 14" Noveske SS polyrifled barrels. Which to do....

I really wish they hadn't screwed with the design of their sights.

Thanks man. Ordered em on the fly for that price. From Troy directly I was looking at $220 I think so thanks for saving me $70 man for sure. Every penny saved on a build is helpful.

Nobody has any input on barrel length?

What did they change? I have a Troy rear on my other rifle and it seems more than adequately built.

I've done some research and Troy switch their mount to a "universal mount" called the STANAG 4694 rail which is a NATO project to replace the 1913 rail still used today.

The issue with the "new" Troy sights are that they don't fit on the 1913 rail correctly, as you can see by the huge gap on the left side of the rail in this photo.
http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b507/Dave_Wray/FrontMounted2_zps03afc2ca.jpg

Edit: Just checked the Troy on my Sig M400 and it also has slop in it. Not as extreme as above but slop nonetheless.
http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p351/CotyReinau/IMAG0024_zps4pkcxy0a.jpg

I might dump those Troys I just bought on eBay and make some money on them.

Decided to go with a PSA LPK w/o FCG. No point in spending $90 on the DD LPK when all I need is the pins, springs, bolt catch and mag release. Going to pickup my lower tomorrow so I will have some Noveske Pr0n for you. Upper should be here Tues.

If anyone has a lead on where to find a Rainier Arms Precision Match Grade Nickel Boron BCG please let me know, I'd be very appreciative and maybe I'll send you a $10 finders fee via PayPal.

I have to disagree on your LPK choice. I would NEVER buy a PSA.

As for your BCG. In a quality build like that why not just go with a JP. Young's NM ?

I'm putting a similar build together. Have the same upper and lower. Geissele trigger of course. Raptor. BCG will be a JP Low mass.
How about a PM on the Noveske barrel source.

This build sounds awesome. I will have to caution you on PSA lpk.. On my PSA build the pins were jacked up! Make sure to get the premium kit and not the classic or enhanced!

Also, I would not go with Rainer bcg on a high quality build like that! Go with lmt or bcm! :)

Yeah, my PSA order hasn't even shipped. I'm gonna cancel it. As for BCG I went with a BCM auto, I don't want to wait for a Rainier to come back in stock.

Went with an Armalite LPK.

LPK came in today. Lower is GTG. Now I just gotta wait on my NSR to come in so I can ship the barrel nut, barrel and muzzle device off to ADCO as well as the upper to get the NSR index hole drilled.

And something else came today as well.

This has like half of the parts I want to get, even though I'm undecided on some. Already have the Raptor, Gen 2 lower and SSA-E.

Thanks man. I'm not exactly sure what i'm doing for rail and barrel yet, but I'm thinking UBR and MUR for sure. I was worried that the MUR and Gen 2 lower wouldn't match that well like I've seen a few times, but yours looks really good. I'm anxious to see what it looks like with the NSR on it. I was always leaning towards a DD Lite rail or some sort of quad rail, but the more i look at the NSRs the more I like them, plus I'm thinking it would probably be more practical for me.

Moar shipments in.

Now I basically have everything but my Aimpoint in, which is on backorder so we can finally get this rifle together.... after I ship my barrel, flash hider and upper to Steve at ADCO tomorrow...

I'm really happy I went with the NSR, this rail is like.. air... literally there is no weight at all. I think my plastic MOE forend on my other rifle is heavier.. Also got myself some Lancer L5 AWM's.. very impressed so far, don't like how you gotta slam it home with 30rds on a closed bolt though.

First nice builds and good parts.

Can any one tell me where to get the Bolt catch that looks like that, or do I have to order straight from Armalite.  I don't buy LPK as I always put in Wilson combat triggers or Geissele's and BadCass selectors, so I like to order parts separate.  I see on Primary Arms site that there is one that looks like that but its made by DSA and I am not sure about there quality,  Although most parts are only made buy a few companys and the bought up by these resellers.   Thanks.

It is an Armalite bolt catch/release. They sell an LPK less the FCG but not sure about individual pieces.

Aimpoint came today. I love Larue so much.. you buy an optic and get a bunch of freebies.

I got my Noveske MUR Chainsaw today. It completely perfect except for a small dent in the shell deflector, which I probably would have eventually had happen myself, so no biggie.

Monday the barrel will be here and I will get this build finished.

Great build! Almost exactly like one I did during the height of the craziness. Only differences were that I had a FailZero BCG, Norgon mag release and a Geissele SD-E.  One suggestion though. Ditch the UBR. It is cool, and its the "most expensive" (and I had one too) but it just turned your build into a hippo. You have a lightweight front end and a cement truck on the rear. The minute I switched over to a CTR, the rifle hit "Holy Grail" status.

In the end, as long as you are happy with what you are assembling, that's all the matters.

Here's how mine turned out.

Curious how tight your upper and lower are.  My MUR and Gen2 lower are so tight that I have to use my Glock tool to push the rear pin out.
