Just finished this one last night. It's kind of a frankengun built with some spare parts and some new ones.

Latest built upper. Lower was built for my dedicated .22, but works for this until I get a Mega billet lower.
Troy Medieval Muzzle Brake RRA 18" Stainless Heavy Barrel Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS 15" Mega forged upper receiver YHM hard chrome BCG BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle Large Magpul AFG2 (not sure if keeping on this upper) DPMS lower receiver (had this for a long time) S&W lower parts kit AMBI safety Magpul MOE grip Magpul ACS stock Have not yet been able to shoot it :-(

Upper is a BCM Blem.
16" palmetto A2 profile mid length gas CH 1/7 barrel Rainer mini-comp. Not too loud behind the gun, but loud to the sides Spike's BCG Core15 v2.0 but currently has a Mod4 Gunfighter Bought two KAC micro sights that were supposed to be non-USMC, but the damn things were! Contacted KAC and they said they were monitoring the adds on Ebay so I will run these until I can get legit replacements. Went with a KAC MK12/18 front sight. Rail is a 15" MI GenII. Trigger is a Mega tactical unit and uses a WMD NiB disconnect and a fail zero hammer with a JP 3.5lb spring kit. KNS Pins just because I like the stainless pins on the hard chrome and NiB trigger groups. LMT Ambi safety that has the right side shaved down thin and cold blued. Vltor modstock.. Troy trigger guard and MIAD grip. RRA lower. Final weight without loaded mag is 7lbs even.

I just completed my first complete build! A long range/varmint rifle is the intended purpose. Here is the story...
Black Rain Ordnance Lower Brownells a2 stock completion kit Magpul PRS stock (FDE) PSA LPK+ Geissele SSA-E trigger Magpul MOE+ grip (FDE) Voltor MUR-1 Upper (with deflector and forward assist) BCM bolt and carrier BCM gunfighter charging handle (large) 18" Lothar Walther LW 50 SS barrel, midlength Gas, 1x8 twist Brownells Midlength gas tube Daniel Defense clamp on low profile gas block (.750) Seekins Precision SAR 13" gen 2 rail Magpul Rail Covers (FDE) A2 flash hider Bobro scope mount (extended) Nightforce NXS 5.5x22x50 w/zero stop This was quite an undertaking for me as I had never build a complete rifle before. But, after a lot of reading and help from ar15.com, I was able to pull it off. Spent a lot of time saving up for this project but i am really happy how it turned out. I used the Aero Shell 33 MS grease that everyone recommended and i really like that stuff. The barrel nut was nothing to be afraid of and everything else went just fine. New Build Phase 5 Tactical Lower ( Not available to the public ) ( Not marked pistol ) Palmetto Mil-spec tube. LPK pieced together from Palmetto State Mil-spec trigger from my Daniel Defense KNS Gen2 Mod2 pins Magpul MOE stock from my DD Magpul MOE grip and trigger guard from Palmetto State I've done some horse trading to get it together to I think at the time i have $125 in the complete lower. |

Here are my two builds:
To be honest I'm not really even sure why I built the pistol....... just to build it I guess.
Pistol is Rock River lower with DPMS parts kit, RRA pistol tube, unknown A2 upper with ASA 11.5 chrome lined barrel, Midwest free float quad rail. Rifle is Stag 2nd amendment engraved lower with Palmetto State parts kit, various Magpul stuff, Upper is Stag 1HL. 
Finished the pistol Friday, and the Rifle Saturday. |

Nice looking rifle. I did mine in part FDE, but thought doing the grip and stock might be overkill, but yours looks great. I might have to rethink mine.

Finally done... Parts list (because its so frustrating finding a gun you like and having no idea what parts were used) Daniel defense S2W barrel 18" Spikes BAR 12 rail strike industries angled foregrip magpul MBUS BUIS Primary arms 3x scope Sabre defense lower bushmaster upper BCM BCG Hogue pistol grip Wasn't sure how it was going to work with parts from some many manufacturers but it turned out better than expected. |
