I built this one specifically for the purpose of reducing the gopher population. So far I am getting 3/4" groups @100 yds with Hornady 32 grain loads and am still breaking the barrel in. DPMS Super Match 24" barrel in .204 Ruger (1:12 twist), JP Enterprises adjustable single-stage trigger, YHM Free-Float Handguard, Hogue grip, Harris Bipod, BAD Lever, Magpul enhanced trigger guard, Badger Ordinance tactical latch, 6-24x cheapo Osprey Tactical scope with illuminated reticle, and P Mags. Will be upgrading the butt stock and scope as soon as funds are available. Don't want to spend $300 on the sniper stock, would rather put that towards some good glass, so I might just switch it back to the A2 stock...we'll see! |

Put together an A4 to keep stock and run iron sights. About two weeks after building it and not shooting it did a complete 180 and end up with what you see below. I can't wait to put some rounds through it. Just waiting on my bipod adaptor and then i'm set!
It went from this: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j98/jamesbernatchez/Photography/e841ecee.jpg to this earlier tonight: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j98/jamesbernatchez/Photography/1e816886.jpg |

I finally built something! I used to think it was odd when I saw pics of unfinished lowers in this thread, but now I get it. I'm so excited about having finished something that I just have to post this.
