I posted earlier but now I have better pictures!
The top one is "my wife's gun" with a 16" Lightweight Barrel DPMS "Oracle upper" on a Delton-lower. It has Double-star internals. It shoots Hornady TAP 1 3/8" @ 100 YArds. Midwest industries handguard, Hogue grip, surefire G2 LED. 
The Bottom One is "MIne" with a 20" HBAR KNights Armament Rail system Double star upper and NIkon Buckmasters 3x9x40 BDC. GG&G Rail, Daniel Defense 1'o'clock mount with Burris Fastfire on it. HOgue grip...Mako Bipod Fore Grip, and Surefire G2. Debating which Stock, sling, and trigger group to upgrade to on it. 
overlooking a foodplot a night I killed 3 does with it. ALL neck shots, all DRT! 
the second best group out of the HBAR. Have misplaced the first best target. Next is a .308 build! |

It's a LaRue Tactical Covert Case. Nicest "soft" case I've ever owned. There is some rigidity to them to hold shape. I have several and will probably buy more as time goes by.

Have one Larue case for my lightweight AR and love it
It WILL fit my RFB, but it's pretty darn snug, so i picked up a Bulldog discreet case for it. |

Well my new AR is kind of a Mutt. I am using a Stag Arms Model 3H upper, DPMS lower (Custom engraved by Orion Arms MN), Samson flip up front sight, MaTech 600 meter BUIS, I believe the stock is a CAA stock not sure though....Not greatest pictures either but haven't gotten a chance to take any better ones.

Here's my two. The top was a complete parts build up with parts from here or there. The other started its life as a DPMS and now only has the two receivers as original parts.

This is a biuld for my brother in KY. He wanted something to pop coyotes on 200 acers... He wanted something just for a scope with no sights and no quadrail. "Nothing traditional". I told him I could cook something up. The 1911 is 80% done just need to get new grips and a press to take off the sights so I can Duracoat the upper half. Grips are for trade if anyone is enterested. Let me know what you think.

Here's some updated pics of my ever/ongoing obsession build:
Changed to a 16" Daniel Defense CHF Mid-Length 1/7 Swapped the Troy Extreme Battlerail from 9" to 11" (to extend/cover the mid-length GB) Changed the gas block from a Daniel Defense Low-Pro to a Samson Manufacturing Enhanced Low-Pro Replaced the PWS TTO with a Rainier Arms XTC Changed the front sight from a folding Troy HK style, to a Troy M4 style folder to provide a better visual fit with the Troy DOA rear BUIS. 
Edit*: Forgot to add that I also replaced the stock carbine buffer with a Spikes ST-T2, installed a JP Enterprise Reduced Power AR Hammer/Trigger/Disconnector Spring set, and added a Magpul B.A.D.. |

Got the rest in from Del-ton yesterday and foun out that the magazine catch was missing. Placed a call to them and they said one was on the way. I went ahead and build the rest . A buddy who talked me into building my first has pulled a mag catch off one of his so that I can shoot it this weekend. Damn, it's good to have good friends.

Here is the start of my next one. With a Wilson 16" SS lightweight 6.8 SPCII Barrel and the Cav Arms Lower I am looking at a approx. 6lbs hunting Gun when done. So far all we got is, Cavalry arms lower, DS arms upper, and a can of Brownells Alumahyde Coyote. More parts are on the way.

I started collecting parts for this build last year while I was deployed. I mailed off my stamp application in February and got it back last week. I give you my nearly final product.

I would like to thank this forum for all the great advice, etc. because it is really what allowed me to put this together in it's current state. I plan on getting a weight for it soon but not before I go and put some rounds down range.
