My first ever complete build from top to bottom. Colt 20" govt barrel, wilson combat muzzle brake(perm attached) with Colt bolt carrier, Colt handguards and Stock, Stag Arms lower and parts kit. Arms 40L rear sight, A1 pistol grip(gun show special. Dpms flat top A3 upper. I put it all together and didn't put one single mark on the lower.

Thanks been wanting to do it for about 5 years, and had to wait about 5 months for the upper receiver once I was ready to order due to Stag's B/O. Tried it once just after I turned 18 and got my first AR but didn't have the patience and ended up having one of my best friends (thanks Brent Barnes,) who was a gunsmith put it back together. Only took 18 years for me to try again. In truth my Olympic Arms still shoots fast and hard so I never had a need to build another, want finally surpassed need though as it usually does. I am happy as a kid at x-mas :)

Here's a shot of my latest. Over on the USN forums we had Mega make us some custom lowers and uppers.
I had this upper on another build, but I just had to use it on this lower. The Upper is a 14.5 BCM with pinned phantom PWS Piston Kit installed by Henderson Arms Daniel Defense Omega rail Midwest Industries BUIS front and rear Tango Down Scar rail panels Surefire 951 tac light Larue FUG Aimpoint T1 with Larue Mount Stag Lpk Bill Springfield tuned 4lb trigger KNS anti rotational pins "just for looks" Magpul MIAD grip and MOE Trigger guard Magpul ASAP plate and Sling "not pictured" LMT Sopmod with H buffer

Started with M&P 15VTAC comes with JP/Viking Match Trigger (smooth @ 4lbs.) and Handgaurd, Vltor E Mod Buttstock, 16" Barrel - 4140 Chrome-Moly Steel with Chrome Lined Bore and 1-7 twist, Surefire F556 212A Flash Surpressor/Adapter (accepts thier silencer), Surefire Light with Viking Mount, a Viking Two Point Sling (not pictued, very cool, check out the video at Viking.com), plus four short rail mounts.
