Hi guys, just wanted to post this picture to let you know that the stockstory of the M&P 15-22 has been continued.

I managed to fit an A2 buffertube onto a out of the box M&P 15-22. With this done you can put any excisting stock assy on this 22LR rifle !

We can't have folding and 6-pos carbine stocks in the Netherlands, so the rifles come with the standard stock and tube permanently glued together :(
There is some sunlight lurking at the horizon, because the government is planning to relieve us from this (crazy) rule, but for the time being we are (were) stuck with the glued stock.

This forced me to cut off the excisting moulded tube and find a way to mount a standard buffer tube into the receiver..... There were several other possibilities, but my explicit wish was to be able to use standard parts without being forced to produce all kinds of adapters for specially shaped tubes. The use of stamdard parts is of course cheaper, and there is more freedom to change anything you like.

With the M&P 15-22 receiver adapted, an ACE skeleton stock, Carbine tube, A2 stock assy and many more can be installed the original way as we know it from it's big brother and that's how we like it :)
