looking to get my first suppressor and had a questions i hope you guys with suppressor/piston experience might be able to answer. first i need a multicalber QD suppressor that will go between my FN SCAR's light and heavy, The SCAR light is going to be a 10 inch CQC SBR as soon as my efile stamp comes back., Adams Arms 11.5 SBR, 12.5 BCM SBR, other AR's and LWRC REPR. i just don't want to get a suppressor that has a brake that will block the piston from being removed for service. I was told this was an issue on some AAC brakes. looking at the Griffin Armament SD30 and SilcencerCo Omega at this point, but i'm open to other options. thanks for any input, pros and cons

I'm VERY happy with my YHM ULT 7.62 can.
It's super light, and with their flash hider I don't have any issue removing my Adams Arms piston parts.
I don't do mag dumps, and if you do, the stainless can would probably work better than the Titanium.
Light was one of my big issues when I was shopping.

With an AA piston set up i found a 12.5" was the shortest bbl i could go, using an older Gemtec HALO. OR AAC.

you can modify the AA gas plug by milling a flat into the side.  this will allow you to remove the plug without removing the mount, this will work for AAC but not YHM (haven't tried the rest).

Saker 762, has a nice 556 end cap too.  QD, very high quality internals, lifetime warranty.  Bit pricey but worth it.  Runs on my 16" which has AA piston.

I have a Syrac ordnance piston on an 8 inch 300 blkout SBR build. That gun runs a YHM LT stainless steel 7.62 suppressor which I am happy with. You can access the piston gas block and remove the rod and spring with no problems at all with the retro fitted syrac piston. The thing I like about YHM is the mounting system. If you want to do under the hand gaurd it is very easy with the YHM LT suppressor to put them on and take them off. If I did it again I would probably do a Ti YHM LT because I like to make my guns light. Its a personal preference but the Stainless YHM LT suppressor is pretty light as is. For supeiror sound reduction I would look at the SWR 7.62 suppressor but its a heavy beast at 26 oz. It makes 300 blackout subs super quiet.

My plan is an 11.5" Adams Arms  EVO .   I don't expect any issues... using a direct thread Gem-Tech Trek.
