Really enjoy my LWRC M6A2. Best piston AR I've owned.

That said, I'd like to shave a little weight from this weapon since I'm replacing/selling my EOTech 512/G-33 magnifier with an Elcan Specter DR scope. The 1-4 is 1.27 pounds and the 1.5-6  is 1.54 pounds - neither a lightweight.

Does anyone know of a carbon fiber quad rail that will clear the piston system yet still allow (relatively) easy access to the piston itself for cleaning purposes?

I checked several rail manufacturers but as you might expect, since I'm looking for a fairly specialized product, finding one hasn't been easy.

Suggestions?

Don't know of a carbon system, but when I had my M6A2, I ran a Samson EVO handguard.  Much lighter than a quad rail and you can mount accessories where you'd like.  These will clear the piston system, just be sure your barrel nut is mil-spec.  If it is like the M6-G variant, it will have a proprietary barrel nut and the Samson EVO won't work.

Here's a picture before I traded it (top):
