I don't think anyone currently makes a .308 piston kit. You could use an AR15 kit on it, the problem would be the BCG. You need a one piece or you run the risk of shearing off the key.

I do think that Adams Arms might get into the "old" DPMS pattern 308 ARs sooner or later. I'm still burned by the fact that DPMS decided to go proprietary when we were somewhat close to establishing a standard.
