To me this looks like a early D stock without the rubber coating on the sling swivel but the seller claimed it was a C stock. Here is the link to the ended gunbroker auction.

Yep.........that is certainly not a C. I was going to message the seller and inform him that what he indeed had was a D stock but I decided to mind my business. I figured the buyer should have been more informed on the differences and came here to ask the question.

Yes it is a type D. I bought one for him on another site and it was brand new and amazing, even at the price I paid, which I will not repeat.
