The hammer looks like it could be an early Geissele two stage. Have not been able to find any photos that match it.

Also haven't found any photos of or info on the M16A1 uppers that have had the carry handle milled off. Shows no signs of been drilled & tapped for scope mounts.

Last I don't know if it's even USGI Looks like Russian proofs. Modified for Novak rear sight. Bottom feed and top eject. SMG? Came out of Crane. Any of you armorers ever seen this sort of stuff?

I think the last ones are a welrod. Interesting to see a Novak on it. Does that mean that welrod a have been used up until recently/still used ?

I wonder if the match trigger lower and the shaved carry handle uppers were related to each other?

91,

You are right, its a Welrod.  Lots of weird stuff happens at Crane.  I'm sure some said, "you can't hit a Yak in the ass with a Welrod", someone replied "You could it it had better sights" and history was made.

Thanks Indiana91
I was thinking SMGs not pistol.
The CIA and Navy Seals used the Welrod for assassinations  in Vietnam. Now I'll have to check out the pat, number on the Novak sight to see what year that the sight started life.
Good, one out of three down.

The first one looks like a Knights Armament 2-stage trigger.  Probably a Mk12 demil.

They could have milled off the carry handle and had a red dot on a railed forearm of some type.

The worst part is, they won't even sell the captain crunch parts.
