Well,,,,,,,,Its at least a meager start! So far, Tactical Machining 80%er (thanks Bob for the rent time on your milling machine). Nodak upper. Thank you John Brace for the filling and machining of the forward assist hole. Also, thanks again Braceman for the A1 reprofiling and excellent engraving!

That upper and lower look beautiful! Braceman does great work.
A 605 is next on my list, but, mine will be nowhere as accurate as that!

What's the little engraving on the right side of the pistol grip boss? Was that there when you got the 80%, or did you have it added ("C" for clone?)

That "C" was there on the 80 percent lower. No way to remove it (I figured nobodys gonna see it any way once the grip is on).

I,ll probably get the AR15SPORT barrel. Ive had really good success with them. Of course,,,,,I,m always open to suggestions? And, i,ll send it to JT for his shortning, rethread, and pinning. Then, I,ll be really close to completion!

Are they anodized? Just wondering how a welded FA would show with anodizing.

Green mountain has 1:12 a1 profile barrels with m16 extensions (does not have m4 ramps).  For $170-ish my money is on that as it's literally 100% A1 GI spec.

Op, i do remember those lowers being out of spec. Before you go any further assemble it and make sure mags fit and feed with upper closed.
