Guys, many of you are aware that I recently acquires a Vietnam era M16 training rifle (Rubber Duck) with a Colt upper assembly. Much of it dates back to 1969-71. The FA has been destroyed and I am wanting to replace it with an original teardrop of that era. If anyone has a line on one, I would really appreciate a heads-up on it. Thank you in advance.

That is a DPMS repro forward assist, not an original as I'm sure you could tell from the flat pad.  I ordered one and used it for my last build.
