Member M4it had a couple he made into rewelded front half's. IM him and ask for pics from before the weld and prep work.

Can't help you behind the grip. But here's the front.
It all depends on the mold and who's grinding the flashing off. Dave

Print specs the flashing can be left in the trigger guard area.
