Prices have gone way up on N1s!

I just sold mine that looked almost brand new with only a slight shiny rub on it. Got $125 shipped and insured.

This. I had at one point 10-12 Colt N 1 Fiberlites and couldn't give them away, I put 8 up on the EE in 2010 for $30.00 shipped and I only sold 5, 1 of which went for a lowball offer of $25.00. I gave the 3 remaining stocks from the EE Ad away to my local FFL to see if he could sell them in his $20.00 and under bargin bin. I ended up buying them back last year for $30.00 total, Neal (My LGS owner) said to just take them but I gave them to him to make a few bucks. Plus I got a great deal! Funnything is they were in that rubbermaid tote full of misc. parts for almost 3 years and not one person bought one.

Still have one you'd like to give away?

I just got one that wasn't Colt "pay it forward" from a member. I did not want to pin a real Colt on the lower I use when I want my SP1 CAR15 clone to be Kalifornistan "featureless." It is not N marked, but is virtually identical in look and feel to my N marked Colt.  The only difference I can find is a slight shoulder on the front edge of the sling loop on the top. I post side by side later.  I don't know who made it, but I like it!.

I used the 4 that I kept, sold 5 here on the EE for $30.00 each, then went back 2 years ago to my LGS to retrieve the 3 I gave away, ended up paying owner $30.00. Even 2 years ago N 1's in great shape were still only $60.00 or so $75.00 for ones like Banshee35 just sold for $125.00. Now everyone will want $125.00 for nicer examples because of that sale. Of the 3 I retrieved from my LGS, I kept the nicest one and used it this year on an IDF clone, the other 2 were Sold through IM's. I was reading through threads and guys were looking/asking for 1, I figured why not help out and give a great price, $60.00 shipped each for the last 2 stocks. So now at this point I have 0 left(That aren't on builds.)

I bought an N1 used BFPU looking at a gun show for $65. The next gun show, I got another N1 BFPU for $10. I figure I paid avg $37.50 each. I'm not complaining.

Armalite is making A1 style grips in OD green nowadays as well. I was gonna buy one or 2 but they want $15 to ship a grip

Just won this tonight

Seemed like a good deal

I bought one at a gunshow with buffer, tube and spring for more than $125 a couple years ago. So, maybe I was too impressed with the N and 1. But it still seems like a good deal. None of it is depreciating, or or likely to do so.

Deals are out there. I just nabbed this off ebay. Looks Colt, and if it's not it was still a good deal at $15 shipped.

EDIT: Weird. Ebay says they pulled this item, and I'm not required to complete the transaction. even though I already paid for it?

Sounds like all you can do is leave them a Bad feedback,

Retro things are hard to find at gun shows. The EE here is nice, Wish they would come up with a new format.

Seller messaged me, eBay pulled the auction because he used the term "assault rifle" in his listing. Transaction still went through and he's shipping it today.

So E-pay is once again allowing these firearms items because they were losing $$$$ but the wording of the ad was "wrong". Stupid.

Yep. They pulled his ad after I bought it, sent me a message telling me that I didn't need to go through with the transaction and still charged the seller fee's!

ebay repays fees if they drop an ad. There is a proper spot for the stock if you list it right.
Its a convenient place for people to shop and the cost is about the same as running a gun show table or other auction sites.
Its safe for the people buying..

a little kneejerk on both sides of this. People wont forget or forgive the ebay for the past actions, yet Ebay goes and drops adds for the word.
I wish everyone got along and loved eachother. No one would need a weapon. You would just need a hug. That's Hippy John talking.
There is nothing but love in this heart.
