Some different features I thought y'all might like to peruse. The last of my old Bushmaster lowers, Nodak upper, McKay 1:7 barrel, Geiselle trigger, my own design clamp-on A1 FSB. Exceeded expectations; a keeper.

Nice build! I looks great! Thanks - mucho appreciated. I didn't anticipate the interest in the fsb! I saved the cad file and the drawing of the fsb. |

Wow. I really fouled up my last fsb drilling job. That fsb would have saved me much gnashing of teeth.

Bandsaw cut on the bottom? That is a sweet set up. You could probably make a few coins easy selling them. I have done 3 or 4 FSB mountings and I aint real proud of all of them!  That is definitely a good looking option for many who would never dream of doing a FSB install! ETA it looks perfect from the port side. No one would even be able to tell unless they got right up in your grill. Again GREAT JOB! |

Armalite sells a clamp-on sight similar to that, only thing I don't care for is the chance that they can come loose and render the weapon to a single shot. Very nice setup though, congrats!!!

That rifle is a pampered range toy. I hear what you are saying - a clamp-on fsb should not be used on a duty or teotwawki weapon. |

Will a bayonet still attach or is the lug too far apart due to the cut? Or maybe I am looking at it weird. A bayo should still work
